Carmen Groza, full of her thirst for monumentalism, has always pursued her plastic research.

Her work has oftentimes flourished in a black, compact matter, full of the strength of menhirs.

Shapes, presences, obscure things took up space.

Woven, of ink-treated

Did they really express a thirst for darkness?

No, they didn’t.

Rather a density.

Here density spreads apart and frays.

Shrubs, woodland, bushes.

The path searches, patiently and in an absolute freedom, towards what is hidden behind the shrubs.
